The workshop is designed for all levels of skill and will cover a wide range of techniques that will help you create beautiful freestyle stitched work. We will be focusing on birds, trees, and landscapes for our subjects. This is a great entry level workshop for those who have always wanted to give freestyle stitching a go but have not had the confidence to try as well as those who have experience with this type of sewing. LET’S PLAY WITH THREAD: STITCHING THE LANDSCAPE – SOLD OUT please click the email link below if you would like to go on the waiting list In the machine embroidery workshop learning about composition, colour, choosing and combining threads, and so much more. In this workshop we will be working through the steps to creating beautiful landscapes with depth and light, textures and form. Mossy tree trunks and leaf strewn forest floors. *Intermediate / experienced *Intermediate / Experienced – this course assumes you have some experience in machine embroidery. The tutor won’t have time to focus on teaching basic skills as this course is designed to build on prior knowledge. |

Cindy's work has been published in magazines in Australia, New Zealand, The Netherlands, and America. Her work hangs in private collections throughout Australia and Internationally.
Cindy’s textile artworks are fee-style stitches on her sewing machine to create unique and beautiful textile artworks. Silk and cotton are her preferred materials which are often hand dyed by Cindy using leaves and bark found in the natural bush areas of Tasmania.
